Calendar template and css for CGCalendar

Someone asked me for the calendar template that we used for Sun Country on the Murray so I thought I would post it here.

Download the CGCalendar template here

CGCalendar is a calendar module for CMSMS.

To get it to work, copy the contents of “Calendar Display Template.txt” into the “Calendar Templates” template. And add a stylesheet with the contents of “Calendar CSS.txt”, and attach it to your template.

  7. Hi, I’m a little bit confused about how the event page works

It’s really great how you’ve implemented it. I’ve put the template code and stylesheet in place, but how exactly do I set it up so I have a calendar page (where you can scroll months), then an additional page that generates the single event_id of whatever event you click on in the calendar? How many pages in CMSMS do I need to create, and what parameters do I need to specify?

Thanks very much for your help.

  8. Hi Tim,

When you click on the event in the calendar view, it takes you to the detail view. So that is where the detail template of the calendar comes in.

You don’t need to create any extra pages for the detail view, it is handled by the module.

    Does that answer your question?

    Cheers,

    Luke

  9. Awesome, thanks for (1) providing the code and (2) providing directions to implement. I have done web development for some time but new to CMSMS and since I am redoing my sons cub scout site helpful items like this is much appreciated. Thanks again.
